Imperial Indian Restaurant is Rockingham’s coastal destination for authentic Indian dining, warm hospitality and relaxed elegance by the sea.
Located on the beautiful Rockingham Beach Foreshore, just south of Perth, Imperial brings together the bold, aromatic flavours of India with the natural beauty of the coastline. With the beach, ocean breeze, nearby parks, dolphin watching, sunset walks and views across the foreshore, our restaurant offers more than a meal — it offers a complete coastal dining experience.
We are a proudly family-run restaurant with a deep love for Indian food, culture and hospitality. Our female-led kitchen prepares fresh, flavourful dishes using traditional Indian cooking methods, whole spices, quality ingredients and recipes inspired by generations of home-style cooking.
Our menu celebrates the richness of Indian cuisine, from smoky tandoori specialties and slow-cooked curries to fragrant biryanis, fresh naan, street food favourites, vegetarian dishes and comforting family meals. We are proudly fully Halal and offer options for many dietary needs, including vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free choices, along with our popular gluten-free naan.
Imperial is also a fully licensed restaurant and wine bar, offering beer, wine, cocktails, whiskey, coffee, tea and traditional chai to complement your dining experience. Whether you are enjoying a relaxed lunch, romantic candlelit dinner, family gathering, coastal sundowner or special celebration, our goal is to make every visit feel warm, generous and memorable.
